Bagan: Temples and Balloons

On to Bagan....

On the roof of our hotel for sunrises and sets.
Mist at dawn.
Sunrise.
Balloon launch every day at dawn.  Surreal to see them fly right over the hotel.
Fabulous sunsets overlooking the Ayeyarwaddy River.
Another breakfast on the hotel roof.
Climbing a temple for a good sunset view.
The view!
Another beautiful sunrise.
Hot air balloon up close.
Hoping they recycle.
Herd of goats in the Bagan fields at dawn.
"Nat" statues - a remnant of animism within a Buddhism temple.  Cigarette in mouth.
A monk asked her if she was a professor because she was taking so many notes.
Hundreds of families were arriving by oxcart and camping in the fields for the Ananda festival.
